The RRB Group D Exam is an examination held by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Group D for recruitment to various posts in the railway sector.
It is a requirement to pass this examination in order to be considered for recruitment.
A number of posts are available for recruitment in every railway district in India. These posts include railway station masters, general store managers, assistant station masters, assistant engineers, fire fighters, head constables, head chaps, guard constables, switchboard operators, tehsil and district managers, head teachers, and other posts.
There are 180 posts available for recruitment in every district. A candidate must be able to pass the RRB Group D examination to be considered for recruitment to any of the posts in the district.
RRB Group D examination consists of four categories: Mathematics, General Science, General Knowledge, and a section on Indian Culture and Values.
The syllabus for RRB Group D examination is the same as that for the Group A and Group B examinations.
The examination is conducted in a multi-day format. The first day of the examination is the pre-test or practice day.
